About the FPES
Faculty of Psychology and Educational Sciences (FPES) was founded in 1984. As the name reveals, the FPES faculty offers undergraduate and postgraduate degree programs in the two broad areas of Psychology and Education. The faculty is well-known among academia as an important institute of higher education aimed at teaching and conducting research in various specialized areas within the fields of Psychology and Education.
Currently, 73 highly qualified academic staff are providing teaching and research services to 620 undergraduate and 1147 postgraduate students in the Faculty. Moreover, about 35 staff are facilitating the administration and leadership of the FPES.

Facilities
Located in ATU's Central Campus, the faculty of Psychology and Educational Sciences (FPES) is set up on 6 floors, contains 37 classrooms, more than 30 rooms for the academic staff, and 3 conference rooms. There are also 2 computer workstations, 1 reading room for PhD candidates, 1 library with 2 reading rooms for Bachelor and Master students, and 1 room for visiting lecturers.
There are also a number of specialized facilities in the FPES, including:
– 1 Knowledge and Information Science Laboratory;

Moreover, a number of facilities are located in the Central Campus and shared with other faculties located in the same campus, including:
– 2 computer workstations;
– 1 library, cataloguing more than 69420 volumes in English and Persian;
– A Central Library and Documentation Centre;
– A mosque;
– 2 reading rooms, one room dedicated to PhD students;
– 1 restaurant, on 4 floors;
– A large sports complex, including swimming pools, saunas, gyms, and basketball, volleyball, and football saloons, among others;
– 2 buffets.
