Dr. Ahmad Borjali has been entrusted with the duties and rights of the Dean of the Faculty of Psychology and Education since 2013. Holding a PhD degree in Psychology, he is a distinguished academic figure in psychological studies. Dr. Borjali is also a faculty member at FPE Department of General and Clinical Psychology.

 

 

 

Dean's Message

Since its establishment at Allameh Tabataba'i University (ATU), Faculty of Psychology and Education (FPE) has always sought to train competent graduates in the two broad fields of "psychology" and "education". All FPE member, including the faculty members, administrative staff, technicians, and service personnel are every day doing their best efforts to preserve the quality of services offered at the Faculty. Many of the lecturers at FPE are among the expert, and most renowned people in the country in the areas of psychology, education, counselling, and Knowledge and information science, who, in addition to educating students, have the ability to produce and publish informative content in these areas and their writings are usually considered as major resources in Iranian universities. Every year, a large number of talented students choose to study at the Faculty of Psychology and Education. Several of our graduates are currently employed as faculty members at other universities. The FPE Faculty at Allameh Tabataba'i University is currently providing educational and research services to students in 4 undergraduate, 21 postgraduate and 13 doctoral programmes. In addition, according to the needs of the Iranian society, several other disciplines are planned to be established at FPE in Masters and PhD levels, most of them being interdisciplinary in nature. In this regard, initial steps have been taken in many cases and the process of the establishment of new disciplines is being finalised at FPE. I hope that, with the help of God the Almighty and the efforts made by our faculty members, administrative staff and other colleagues, we will all pave the road to success, so our students, researchers, and lecturers will enjoy easier and quicker steps to academic success.
